Returns & exchanges policy

 

Before requesting a refund, or exchange, please take a minute to review the following information regarding our Terms and Conditions;

 

By nature, vintage items have survived years, decades and often lifetimes of ownership and use. Please note that due to the unique nature of vintage clothing, there might be the occasional slight or trivial imperfection. Prior to entering our studio to be photographed, all pieces are processed with an initial steam or dry cleaning however, not all items have been “spot treated” thus any known condition issues will be noted in the item description and sold “as is”.

 

Although we take great care of each item once received by us, they have had a previous life and, as a result, we cannot guarantee the item’s longevity. This includes, but is not limited to, the construction (including integrity of thread, seams etc), fabrics or materials used as well as pigments, dyes, trims and adornments on the item. We make every attempt to list any prominent flaws within our item descriptions and you can rest assure we would not sell something that we would not purchase for our own personal use.

 

Online sales of vintage pieces are considered final with return requests reviewed on a case-by-case basis. To be eligible for a return you must contact us at info@mrportobello.co.uk within 24 hours of delivery as determined by tracking information.

 

The item must be unused, in the same condition it was received and, upon approval, returned in the same packaging (you can place the original packaging in another package if it was damaged upon opening – this is used to help us determine any possible issues occurred after shipping prior to receipt of the parcel which will then need to be submitted to the postal inspectors).

 

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and if a product was initially shipped for free, deduction of the original shipping cost will be made upon return. Any items approved for return must be shipped with proof of tracking information received by us no more than 48 hours after approval.
